Offshore Wind, Live is an interactive night map of Britain's offshore wind farms, from Hornsea, Dogger Bank and Sofia in the North Sea to Beatrice and Moray in the Moray Firth, Seagreen off Angus, Walney and Gwynt y Môr in the Irish Sea and Rampion off Sussex. Each farm glows with what it is generating now, read from Elexon BMRS every five minutes, and turns amber when the grid operator has asked it to turn down. Tap a farm for its capacity, turbines, operator, distance offshore and the last 24 hours. The map needs JavaScript to run.
